Show up, gear up with some clean up essentials and special dance moves, as we are about to participate in a musical groovy clean up. All materials and equipment will be provided by our team.
Let’s show our love with action during the Silent Disco City Clean Up that takes place on Sat 24 April from 10am – 12pm in Glen Eden.
What is Silent Disco City Clean-Up?
We’ll meet up at 10am outside of the Glen Eden Library for the meet & greet, health & safety briefing, headphones set up.
Then we offer you to tune into the natural habitat and also into one of the music channels:
Music channel #2 – greatest hits, favourite songs from 70s and 80s
Music channel #2 – chillax – mix full of great electronic, indie and reggae songs
During an hour or so, we will walk, dance, sing along to great tunes (you can switch between 2 channels), and collect rubbish in the urban spaces, backstreets of Glen Eden, along Waikumete stream and nearby reserves.
During the next 30minutes, we’ll offer you to tune into the inner world as we are going to enjoy the 30-min guided meditation by Brian Berneman at Olive Grove reserve, where our clean up adventure is going to finish.
